How deep does kindness go?
Out from his lips, down to his toes?
Or does it end as quick as light?
Does darkness make his soul take flight?

Are we Complex beings, confusing souls
Growing in virtue as age takes its toll?
Or do we become fearful and conniving?
Generosity that dries on the surface of living?

The answer as always
Is not black or white
It varies through ages
But hope leads our fight
